This is a phenomenal product, the Play-a-long tracks work so well to get students inspired and excited about music. It is the perfect way to start a beginner.
I've been playing the piano for 35+ years, but I mostly play by ear and I'm miserable at sight-reading. Needless to say, I'm not very good at teaching, so when my 8 year old daughter began to show a lot of promise with music, I went on the hunt for a teaching method that would click with her. I stumbled upon Kelly's YouTube video's one day, and my daughter DEVOURED them... she asked me if Kelly had any more video's, so I looked up his website and ordered his Piano method book.
It's elemental, fun, straight forward, fun, and a perfect fit for my budding musician. It has boosted her confidence, and caused her to try her hand at "figuring out" the melody of her favorite shows. It's beautiful to watch.
If I had any feedback, it would simply ask that Kelly create more advanced material to keep the learning going. We're thrilled with Kasey's Music Method!
