Definitely for much younger kids. I bought this for my 13 year old son after he watched the videos and started playing ukulele, but it was too easy and for twenty dollars, it didn't contain as much information and practice as any of the other music books we have bought in the past. It would be great for younger children.

Thank you for your purchase and helpful review. It makes sense that your son would find my book easy after completing my YouTube series. That's why in the description I say that it's for ages 4-12 and for complete beginners. Also, did he try using the jam tracks and demonstration videos? This is a play-along method, so each song/exercise is meant to be played with the video or jam track included. 50% of the value is in the included media.

So I'm 71 and have recently started to learn the recorder watching Kelly YouTube. Whilst this book is for kids it's great for us older ones too 😀 so simple to understand.
